- Theory Lessons

Did you know that students preparing for a Practical exam with the RCM in Grades 5 and up also need to complete a Theory Exam to get their certificate? At The Piano Studio we offer Group Theory Classes to help students prepare for these exams, and broaden their musical knowledge.

Why Take Theory?

When learning how to play an instrument, it is important for students to understand the building blocks with which music is built. Theory classes teach students the theoretical aspects of music which apply to any instrument.
