Whether you are an absolute beginner, returning to voice lessons, or an adult wishing to experience the joy of finding your voice, The Piano Studio offers comprehensive lessons in healthy, beautiful singing for every age and style.

 

Developing Technique

Our Vocal Program is designed for students age 8 to Adult. Focus on the essentials of vocal production and musicianship while learning fun songs keeps our beginner voice students engaged, and ensures a lifetime of healthy singing. Students of every age are encouraged to participate in the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program to develop a comprehensive approach to all technical aspects of musicianship including ear-training, sight-singing, rhythm and singing in other languages.

 

Encouraging Performance

In preparation for Piano Studio Recitals, Performance Classes offer students a chance to sing in front of a group of their peers, and receive constructive feedback. In addition to these performances, Voice students who are ready are given opportunity to participate in local Voice Festivals. Access to The Piano Studio’s in-house accompanist for Recitals, Exams, Festivals and Performance Classes is offered to every Voice student.

 

Learning Style

The Piano Studio Voice Faculty teach any style of music, including Musical Theatre, Popular, Country, Classical or Opera, and Jazz, depending on the student’s capability and desire. The Voice Faculty is qualified to prepare students for University auditions, RCM exams (up to ARCT level) and competitions.

Instant CD Recording of all lessons ensures the ease of home-practice for students. Our Voice classrooms are equipped with the latest technology to aid in learning.
